TwitchettsTwitchetts Thread Holders

Look what we have done to Twitchetts! I always wanted a way to keep my Pearsall’s Silks in a neat and tidy manner once they had been cut. This does the trick.  The new, smaller size Twitchetts fit perfectly inside the Pearsall’s zip lock bag.  And they are also a great way to keep your crewel and other bulky threads in order. Just string the Twitchetts on a metal ring and keep everything in easy to reach order.    Twitchetts are made of heavy card stock with a glossy finish and have a little hole on the side for that single strand! $2.25 for a package of ten.

ThingyThe "Thingy"

Many of you have seen the “Thingy” at the seminar shops we run.  It’s a four-in-one tool that is so handy but doesn’t seem to have a name. We started calling it a “Thingy” early on and the name stuck.  What does it do? The tip removes tacks and staples from stretcher bars. Two razor blades are embedded just beneath the triangle and are great for cutting threads. The dot in the middle is actually a magnet. Perfect for parking that extra needle. And finally, there is a small magnifier at the bottom that allows you to check your stitching. Now, what else can do so much?  $2.95 in green or blue, let us pick for you.

small caddy
Do you suffer from needlework sprawl? Encroach on your neighbor’s space in class? If you do, then this handy tabletop organizer is for you! Three pockets on the front hold your scissors, pencils, laying tools, and other pointy things. The main cabin is large enough for an 8.5 x 11" set of instructions, notepads or your extra stitching threads. And the clever thing is that it will fold flat to travel in a suitcase or tote bag. This is the perfect way to keep your stitching space neat whether at home or on the road. Blue with khaki trim.
